Senior Analyst – Data Analytics, Business Intelligence

Our client is a major Organisation that has a cutting edge internal audit department. They have a specialised sub-group that focuses on data analysis and predictive analytics in support of the risk assurance/ internal audit function. They use business intelligence and data mining as part of their audit approach to identify trends and outliers. Candidate must not only be technically skilled in ability to extract and report data, but must also have strong analytical abilities to interpret and present findings.   

  • Bachelors degree in Business field or Computer Science; MBA preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience performing equivalent functions at a large, complex organization or in an advisory capacity
  • Strong Business Intelligence experience and predictive analytics modeling
  • PL/SQL, Transact SQL and corresponding database environments, VBA, TOAD
  • Data reporting and data manipulation tools (i.e., Tableau, SSRS, Hyperion, SSIS)
  • Dashboards and KPI’s
  • Oracle databases and familiarity with other databases
  • Excel and Power Point
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Strong critical thinking skills for analyzing and interpreting data
  • Strong communication skills for gathering and presenting data and findings
